eFront is a software publisher specialised in the Financial industries: Banking, Insurance, Alternative Investments, and Private Equity.

Since the beginning, eFront solutions have been designed for and with financial players. eFront's choices in terms of data models, technologies and functionalities stem from its collaboration with major Banks, Insurance Companies, Private Equity firms…
eFront solutions are based on an innovative, flexible, and business-oriented technological platform. This platform provides our customers with the ergonomic features and interactivity of Ajax / Web 2.0, as well as with the rapid deployment of a Web application.
 
 
eFront serves over 150 customers across the world, including major players in the fields of Banking, Insurance, Private Equity, or Real Estate investments. eFront solutions have built around them a broad consensus, particularly in the fields of Portfolio analysis, Reporting, Risk Management, Internal Control, or CRM.

The success of eFront rests on teams of consultants experienced in Finance and technical experts, as well as a network of recognised partners.

eFront is headquartered in Paris, near Trocadero, with offices in London and in Jersey. These three locations employ over 100 people.
  History of eFront:  
 
eFront was founded in 1999 with the aim of providing financial sectors with best-of-breed business applications, leveraging an innovative technological platform.

eFront is now a recognised supplier for financial players. eFront is currently serving more than 100 references for FrontVenture, over 40 for FrontGRC - including 3 central banks - , and 3 major customers for FrontCRM and the technical platform - all of which are recognized leaders in their respective fields.
 
 
2007 - Acquisition of WebHolding / New office in Jersey:

New offices in Jersey to meet local customer needs, in particular Private Equity administration services.
Acquisition of Fimasys' WebHolding product line, for the management of legal processes within multi-companies holding companies. End of 2007, WebHolding is incorporated into a new FrontLegal solution within the FrontRisk suite. The later is renamed FrontGRC, in accordance with the growing diversity of issues addressed by the software suite in the fields of Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
 
 
 
 
2006 - Launch of FrontCRM / eFront is listed on Alternext:

At the beginning of 2006, eFront announces the launch of FrontCRM for Insurance, based on Ajax Web 2.0 technologies. This product is immediately acclaimed: in the first six months after its launch, eFront sells its product to two major Insurance players in France.

Groupe Vedior France and eFront build a technology partnership for Vedior Front RH, leading provider of software solutions and services for HR and Payroll management.

December 2006: eFront is listed on Euronext's Alternext exchange in Paris.
 
 
 
 
2005 - Launch of the plateform its solutions in a Web2.0 architecture:

Starting in 2004, Ajax Web 2.0 technologies become widely ackowledged, including for general-public uses (google gmail). eFront decides to invest massively in this technology in order to market applications which are ten times more ergonomic and interactive.
 
 
 
 
2004 - Launch of the plateform and its solutions in a Microsoft.NET architecture:

In 2003, the advent of the Microsoft.NET architecture incites eFront to transfer all of its software into this environment, something which is completed by the end of 2004. In parallel, eFront's clientele for FrontVenture now exceeds 30 players. eFront also signs agreements for FrontRisk with two central banks in addition to the first three.
 
 
 
 
2003 - Launch of FrontRisk:

In 2002, eFront concentrates its efforts on the marketing of its FrontVenture product in France and england and ends the year with over fifteen customers including a major player in england. At the end of 2003, once FrontVenture is established as market leader, eFront launches an application dedicated to operational risk management in the Banking sector, a forerunner of the FrontRisk software suite, now marketed under the name FrontGRC.
 
 
 
 
2002 - Creation of the UK Offices:

eFront ltd signs an agreement with its first FrontVenture customer in england, marking the start of its business across the Channel. The next step is the recruiting of local staff dedicated to sales, implementation and support.
 
 
 
 
2001 - Launch of FrontVenture:

eFront upgrades its CRM application to cater for Private Equity requirements in terms of porfolio management and launches FrontVenture at the end of 2001. In less than three months, the product is sold to five significant players in France.
 
 
 
 
2000 - Finalisation of the plateform and launch of a CRM software solution:

At the end of 2000, after 18 months of effort, eFront finalises its technological platform and launches a first CRM application inititally marketed solely in ASP mode.
 
 
 
1999 - Creation of eFront:

eFront launches the development of its technological platform on which all business  applications will subsequently be based. The platform's objective is to quickly develop and easily maintain applications which can be operated either under license or in ASP mode.
