As of February 2018, Tarek Chouman became eFront’s Chief Executive Officer. His previous roles in the company include Global Chief Operating Officer (since August 2017), Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (since January 2016), Chief Operating Officer, EMEA & Asia (in 2015), and Chief Operating Officer for Asia and the Middle East (2008-2014). Over the past years, he has been instrumental in positioning eFront as a global industry leader, expanding eFront’s global footprint particularly in the Middle-East and APAC regions where he opened 7 offices with strong local teams.
He originally joined eFront in 2003 as Services Manager before becoming the Managing Director for France and Continental Europe in 2004. A graduate of the International School of ISIM, Tarek Chouman started his career in IT services. In 1997, he joined the Logispace Group to take charge of the development of a software suite dedicated to the management of real estate assets for large corporations. In 1999, he joined Canadian Group Cognicase, as Manager of Integration and Engineering Activities in Europe.
Matthew joined eFront as Chief Financial Officer in 2014. He has 20 years of experience in financial management and international operations serving as CFO and Finance Director in a range of companies in software, cloud-based technology, media and consumer electronics sectors. He has worked in both the UK and US with a focus on entrepreneurial companies seeking international expansion, rapid growth and business transformation.
Matthew served as CFO at Omnifone, a leading global business-to-business provider of cloud-based digital music streaming services, leading rapid growth in revenue and transforming the company from the investment phase to profitability. Matthew has served as CFO at a UK listed software company and was interim CFO at a software-as-a-service (SaaS) portfolio company of MMC Ventures. Matthew also served as Finance Director for ViewSonic, a leading display technology brand in Europe, delivering a significant contribution towards European sales growth, which more than doubled to $400 million in less than three years.
Thibaut became Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer of eFront in May 2017. He joined eFront in May 2015 as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, to supervise the strategy definition and execution, and lead or coordinate priority projects for eFront.
Prior to that, Thibaut worked for 9 years at McKinsey & Company, the management consulting firm that he left as Associate Principal. He operated in the High-Tech and Telecom sectors, serving in particular a global IT Services provider on numerous operational and strategic topics (incl. M&A and post-merger management) and helping it significantly increase its enterprise value, and assisting a leading Software company’s reorganization. He was also involved in the deployment of softwares from McKinsey Solutions and led several due-diligence assessments for Private Equity funds. Thibaut graduated from Essec Business School in Paris with part of his curriculum spent at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and holds a BA in Law.
In May 2017 Dave became Chief Customer Success Officer focusing on continual improvement and strengthening of eFront’s ability to deliver superior customer experiences at a global level. Previously, he was Chief Services officer. He was leading our global professional services organization, bringing 15 years of experience managing large-scale services teams.
Dave started his career in the US Navy, spending 8 years as a nuclear submarine officer. He joined McKinsey in 2001 as a consultant and engagement manager focused on services and go-to-market for the high-tech industry. In 2004, he joined EMC in their services organization. Dave had numerous roles there over more than 10 years, including leading operations for the EVP of Global Services, GM for the global Application Consulting business, and GM for the $500M Americas consulting business. Prior to joining eFront, Dave was with FICO first as head of global professional services, and then as leader of operations for the Sales, Marketing, and Services organization. Dave holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer, and an MBA from Yale.
Michael joined eFront in October 2017 as Chief Technology Officer. Michael has more than 20 years of experience leading technology function across a range of sectors including Finance Services (LCH.Clearnet), Media (EMI Music) and Online Gaming (Betfair). Most recently he was Chief Information Officer at the Sage Group Plc, a global provider of payment, payroll and accounting solution to millions of small and medium businesses.
As CTO Michael is responsible for the Product Engineering, Software Development, Hosting, Security and IT functions, and is accountable for setting the overall technology strategy and vision, for the ongoing delivery of solutions and services to customers and for the robustness and security of the IT infrastructure and code.
Samer joined eFront as Chief Product Management Officer in May 2019. With 20 years of experience in financial software, predominantly in product management leadership roles, Samer is responsible for defining the vision and roadmaps as well as overseeing the development and delivery of products across eFront’s solution suite. Samer is also a member of the Executive Committee (ExCom).
Prior to eFront, Samer was the Global Head of Product Management for Treasury and Capital Markets at Finastra from March 2014, after successfully managing specific areas of the capital markets portfolio, including the Misys Summit solution, from 2011. He started his career as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Syntegra-BT, before joining Sophis in 1999 as a Professional Services Manager. He then went on to be the Global Head of Product Management and Business Development, as well as a member of the Sophis Executive Committee, where he directed an international team responsible for Sophis’ overall product portfolio.
François joined eFront in June 2016 as Chief People Officer. François has more than 15 years of experience in the Human Resources field developing organization and leaders to accelerate their performance and impact. He has been supporting various business transformation at SAP and more recently at Adobe.
As CPO, François is responsible for the entire employee lifecycle from Talent Acquisition to HR business partnering, Performance, Learning and Engagement. He developed a solid vision for People to make eFront a great place to work that he is deploying with his team to foster a unique culture.
Gildas Mathurin joined eFront in 2011 as Chief Operating Officer, FrontERM & FrontCRM Solutions. Prior to eFront, Gildas managed Astek Finance, which specializes in information system consulting and integration for banking and insurance. He was also a division manager at Sopra Group and managed Euvoxa, a company active in software consulting.
Gildas has many years of experience in consulting and managing software development and implementation projects. Gildas holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and a post-graduate diploma for Business Administration.
