Paris, Tokyo | March 13, 2018 – eFront, the leading global financial software and solutions provider dedicated to Alternative Investments, today announces it has concluded a strategic partnership with Nomura Research Institute, Ltd. (NRI), a leading provider of consulting services and system solutions to the Japanese financial industry, in order to scale up its presence with Japanese institutions investing in alternative investments.
eFront opened its office in Tokyo back in 2015 and has successfully developed its portfolio of Japanese clients since, as alternative investments have been resolutely gaining pace in the country. NRI was involved in several implementation projects with eFront, enabling eFront and NRI to get to know each other’s business model and processes well. This collaboration has naturally resulted in the more strategic partnership announced today; a recognition of NRI’s commitment to the alternative investments sector, and of the eFront-specific know-how that NRI has successfully developed.
As per this partnership, NRI will be promoting eFront solutions to the Japanese market and will provide implementation and support services for eFront customers. eFront will closely support NRI through its local Tokyo presence.
Commenting on the announcement, Katsuhiko Fujita, Senior Managing Director of NRI, said: “It is NRI’s prerogative to address the needs of alternative investment infrastructure, particularly as it pertains to operational efficiencies and support.” Fujita added: “We felt that eFront understood these priorities and based on the company’s track record, it was a strong fit for NRI to collaborate”.
Tom Gardner, Chief Sales Officer at eFront, said: “We are very glad to have partnered with NRI to support the growing demand for our solutions in Japan, where alternative investments are developing fast”. Tom added: “We know NRI very well and recognize their rigor and acute expertise. We are sure NRI will be a strong partner able to best support our current and prospective clients in Japan”.
