eFront Insight Research publishes the performance benchmarks for private market funds based on the cash-flow data up to December 31st, 2022.
In Q4 2022, private markets recorded a 1.6% return for the quarter, with Buyout funds gaining 3.3% in value and Venture Capital funds losing 2.7%.
The historical pooled average investment-to-date IRR for the global private market funds stands at 11.2%.
The performance is calculated using the cash-flow data of 7,700 unique private market funds and it is provided on a net-of-fee basis.
